Thank you, Aunt Renee

Over Christmas, Aunt Renee asked Carson if he knew where his beebo was. I didn't know where or what a beebo was, neither did Carson. She then told us about a book and how the elephant in the book talked about his beebo....known to most people as a belly button.
Since then, Carson always talks about his beebo. Typically, he pulls his shirt up and shows people. However, I have noticed recently he talks about it more in the bath tub. Well, think we may have a little problem. I caught him tonight pulling, poking, probing, and squeezing at his pee pee saying beebo, beebo. I tried to explain to him that what he was squeezing the fire out of was his pee pee not his beebo.
I can hear the conversation now of when we start potty training or when he realizes girl parts are different that boy parts...
Me or Cory: Hold your pee pee and potty in the big potty
Carson: Hold beebo!
or
Me or Cory: Boys have a penis, girls have a vagina (you are thinking of Kindergarden cop aren't ya?)
Carson: Boy have a beebo, girls have bagina
Thanks, Aunt Renee for introducing Carson to his BEEBO!! :)

Busy Weekend

What a busy weekend we have had.

Friday, I started deep cleaning the house as I haven't cleaned REAL well in months. I finished up Saturday morning and then Cory and I headed to our tax appt while Nina came and watched Carson. After that, Cory, Carson, and I headed to Concord Mills for a little shopping and then to dinner with our friends Davie, Kelly, and Mattie. After dinner, we took the kids to Chuckie Cheese to play games. I don't know who had more fun the "Big Boys" or the kids. Carson sure did like riding the big buldozer and the helicopter. We were all tired by the time we got home.

This morning, we headed to church and then had lunch with our friends. Carson has been doing really well eating so we decided it may be time to try a hot dog. He seemed to like it and was eating real good when all of a sudden it all came up. Thanks goodness, I had a spare pair of clothes with me! We just got home not to long ago as it is now nap time. Carson is snoring away in his bed, Cory is laying on the couch, and I am about to curl up with the "D"as soon as I get done blogging.

Hope you have a good week!

Back to the Routine

Wow - I didn't realize I hadn't blogged forever until I got a call from Kylee (My Best Friend in MO) saying "how am I supposed to keep up with your life if you don't blog". Therefore, let me catch you up on the last week and a half.

On January 24th, I headed to rainy Orange County, CA for a Regional Training I had to conduct. I was out there until the 26th and then was off for Regional training in MO. Since I didn't have to be in St. Louis for the training until Monday night, I spent the weekend in St. Joseph. It was a quick visit but relaxing. I was able to sleep in for the most part and get Peyton all to myself with no jealousy issues from my child or no baby hogging from Aunt Marci :) On that Monday, dad graciously drove me to St. Louis where I conducted to the training with a coworker on Tuesday. I then had a wonderful visit and dinner with Uncle Gale and Aunt Debbie before I left.

I returned home on Wednesday, January 30th and could hardly wait to see my boys since it had been a week. I came home to a home cooked meal, birthday cake, and presents. What more could a girl ask for?!?!?! Carson hadn't grown much but was talking much better. I have to admit, I sure did miss doing laundry, bath time, and our nightly routine.

Thursday and Friday where busy days at work in preparation of our big go live date on Monday for the project I have been working on for months. Thank goodness, Carson let me sleep until 8 this morning and then Cory let me go back to sleep at 10 until 12! Today has been a bum day but that is OK every once in a while. Carson didn't want to take a nap this afternoon so fell asleep while eating his dinner tonight. It was everything I could do to keep it together as I watched him eat his cheese puffs with his eyes shut and trying to keep his head up.
