He is really a big boy!!

Well, tonight was the night. I have to say I really did want it to work but there was part of me that didn't want it to because he is still my little baby. After assembling the rail, we showed Carson his new big boy bed. He loved it and is now snoozing away....completely fine....no tears....(mom is crying but Carson isn't.) I'll let you know if it lasts all night.

Big Boy Bed

Today, has been a rainy day so Cory and I decided to make it a cleaning day. We got the house spotless and even got Carson's big boy bed dropped lower and his new Thomas bedding on it. Carson really liked his big boy bed. Now all we need is a rail and he is set to go.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter!!!

Wow has it been a busy weekend. Yesterday, we spent the evening over at our friends, Davie, Kelly, and Mattie's new house. Mattie and Carson enjoyed hunting Easter eggs while we watched.

Today, we had a wonderful time at church as the music and service was beautiful. They carried in a "blooming cross" filled with flowers that the church members brought in. I tried to get a picture of us with it but my boys(the young one and the old one) weren't as patient as I would have liked them to be....they don't always like my photo ops :)

We then came home to the house to finish getting lunch ready. Cory's mom, Grandma, and Aunt came over for lunch. While I was finishing up lunch they all got on the Wii and played bowling. I have to say it was quite funny seeing three grown adult southern ladies in their dresses and hose, play the Wii.

Whew

It's ONLY 1!!!! Thank the Lord.

This week has been crazy. Monday and Tuesday, I had very long days in Raleigh. Then came home to a child not sleeping. We are working on getting him back into some type of schedule since the time change.

Went to the Dr. on Friday to find that everything is good. They did an ultrasound and moved my due date up a few days to October 30th. They did confirm that I will have another c-section and can look at probably scheduling around 38 weeks which would put the arrival of "IT" mid October.

Fortunately, haven't been too sick this week. It comes and goes but man am I worn out. Cory looked at me today and asked me if I was alright. He said you look so tired. (That is after a 4 hour nap yesterday and 9 hours of sleep last night) He has come to the conclusion that I could probably sleep all day and then have no problems going to sleep at night. I think he may be right....would love to test out his prediction soon.

Speaking of snoozing....I just finished paying bills and balancing checkbook so I am ready for bed. Sweet Dreams :)

Dr Appt

I had my first doctor's appt on Friday afternoon. Not much news except they are saying my due date is November 2nd as of right now. However, I go back this Friday and they are going to do a ultrasound to measure check my uterus, rule out twins, and to confirm due date.

We didn't do much this weekend. Friday night I had my bag party. It was a success and Carson showed off as usual. The girls love when he stood on the couch and sang twinkle, twinkle, little star and Jesus loves me at the top of his lungs.

Saturday, I was worn out so we had a boring bummmmmm day. It was INCREDIBLE.

Well, I have to finish preparing for my two day work trip to Raleigh tomorrow and Tuesday.

Let the fun begin....

Oh how quickly we forget about morning sickness....or morning, afternoon, and evening sickness!!! I really thought I was going to be lucky and not have to go through this whole sickness thing with this pregnancy that I went through with Carson.

I WAS WRONG!

and that is all I have to say about that.
