My Big Helper

Today has been a busy day!!! Cory and I ran errands for about 5 hours this morning in preparation of Carson's Birthday Week and our company. Thanks to Nana watching Carson, we got a lot done. The last errand on my list was to go the grocery store as Carson didn't have anything but some green beans to eat for dinner...and that is not one of his favorites. Cory graciously volunteered to stay home and get Carson ready for bed. I spent about an hour at the store and when I got outside, I discovered that it was sprinkling. I consciously made the comment to myself - Wow! Good Timing. I obviously thought too soon because just as I was about 10 feet from the car, the flood gates opened and it started to downpour. By the time I was finished throwing the groceries in the trunk - I was soaked. Literally, it looked like I had just gotten out of the shower. When I got home, Cory couldn't believe his sight. He brought the groceries in and put on the kitchen floor like always while I was drying off. To my surprise, I came into the kitchen to find baby food jars all over the floor. Carson had decided he was going to help me put the groceries away. He does not put them away very well as he likes to throw the jars...hard...onto the floor. He has not broken one yet, but I am sure when he does, he won't be helping mommy put the groceries away anymore.
