Still Recovering and a day of "FIRSTS"

Pictures of the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel - BREATHTAKING!!!

Well, I made it back from California on Thursday morning at around 7:45. To say the least, I was worn out. Carson went to Ms. Julie's and I proceeded to hit the bed until lunch time when I was to pick him up. We then came home to lunch and another nap :) Then Carson and I headed to see our very good friends new little boy. Baby Connelly arrived on Wednesday and was home on Thursday when we got the call to come and visit. Carson wasn't quite sure of Baby Connelly. He looked at me and said "don't hurt me" - I tried reassuring him that the little tiny baby was not going to hurt him but not sure that he listened. (no comments Aunt Mendy) He proceeded to talk about Connelly all evening.

Friday, I was off work so kept Carson home with me. We had the BEST day ever. After getting a little breakfast we lounged in the recliner for about a two hour cartoon show and nap for mommy as the jet lag had really set in. We played and played all day that we didn't realize we were still in our jammies when daddy came home from work ;) Friday evening, Cory got in the attic and pulled down all of Carson's baby clothes to help me prepare for the garage sale. Oh did we have fun going through that stuff. I look back and can't believe how little Carson was. The outfit that we brought him home from the hospital in looked like a little baby doll outfit.

On Saturday, Carson helped me around the house. He has figured out that he likes his potty chair now. He must have sat on hit for an hour last night reading books but no potting.

Today, after church and the grocery store we came home for lunch and naps. As you know, Carson is not a good eater so when we can get him to eat something new, we party. Well, he ate grapes today for lunch and he absolutly loved them. I couldn't get them cut up quick enough for him. Hope this lasts :) After all three of us took a 3 hour nap (LOVE IT) I decided I would see if Carson wanted to sit on the potty. Sure enough he ran right in the bathroom, waited for me to take his pants and diaper off and then sat down. Within about a minute I heard some tinkling going on. It was hard for me not to get real excited as I didn't want the pee pee to squirt out on the floor if I scared him. After he was done, I let him look at the potty and he was very proud. I hope this is the start of a big trend.
