No one ever told me that having a girl would be harder than having a boy...and that she would be EXTREMELY high maintenance. She has truly been my challenge for the last week. After putting her on 3 different formula's, eczema on her head, gas, fussiness, an irritable bowel syndrome medicine we finally figured out she has a milk allergy. Therefore, we just started her on full soy milk and by Wednesday she was a completely different kid. Only to wake up a 3:30 Thursday morning with a rash all over her body. She had her 1 month appt yesterday so we talked to the dr. She has had some type of allergic reaction which we think is related to dryer sheets and not the soy. So I came home from the Dr. washed all her blankets and clothes and we hope that does the trick. She still has the rash this morning but it appears to be better.
On a more positive note....we finally got her to sleep in her crib after buying this amazing vibrating thing that you put under her mattress. (Have I ever mentioned she sleeps really well as long as she is being shaken by her bouncy seat or moving) You can program this little machine and if she starts crying it will kick on and start vibrating the mattress...AMAZING!!! She has slept through the night 2 nights since having it.
Braxi is definitely keeping up with her brother on the height thing but outdoing him on weight. She is 22 3/4 inches (95%) and weighs 11 lbs (95%). Dr. said she looks good and we should expect to see her start smiling in response to us in the next 2-3 weeks....that definitely makes it all worth it!

Probably not so much the girl as the allergy issues. Sounds like she might have inherited some of your allergies..... As for the skin allergy, Ethan and I both have VERY sensitive skin and the only detergent I can use is All Free and Clear and Bounce Free dryer sheets. You might also talk to Heather to see what she does for Dalton with his Eczema. I know no perfumy soaps, etc. Maybe even going to the extreme of using Cetaphil for bathing. It's boring and not much fun, but worth it if they're comfortable and happy:)
I have a friend who has a little one with a dairy allergy, so if you want a list of food options for when she's a little older, let me know.
Hang in there.....
Oh, how I told you how Madison was when she was a baby. She too had to be switched to Soy and she could only take the pre-made. The powder gave her gas. Trust me, it does get better with time.
